It is an Association legally established in 1987 in Cava de ' Tirreni, Salerno, italy.
Already recognized Institution of regional importance (L. R. 49/85), has obtained the recognition of the legal personality with the decree of the prefect of the 06.04.2005 and registration regional expected from the L. A. 7/2003.
The Academy is committed to the promotion of musical activities. Its action provides a stable teaching music, and a regular commitment to the education and training attended School teachers of primary and secondary education.

Today the importance of the guest lecturers, the number and the artistic level of participants, the summer Courses of Cava de’ Tirreni are considered to be among the initiatives of musical training, the most important in southern Italy.
